Talk:Chartrunner

The chartrunner would almost exist as a user-level computing manager. Another chartrunner would be able to manage the computer and its connected devices. I almost then view the charts running as if on some metacomputical 2D plane with a chartrunner verticly above it managing which nodes to compute where/when and providing any special purpose nodes/inputs/outputs, and the chartrunner of the computer(s) below it giving access to devices and such.

I went on about this perhaps too long at Talk:Chart_uncertainties in dealing with the problem of state. I agree that there is likely to be a sort of hierarchy of chartrunners, perhaps itself described by (but not necessarily executed by) a chart. We should draw up, independently, charts that we think represent this ... and see what we think this system looks like.
