My rat died shortly after I moved to Seattle. I called around to a couple of places to get a cremation, but a lot of places wouldn't take an animal that small. I finally got Northwest Veterinary Hospital, 4922 Stone Way N, to take my rat (although they don't usually handle small rodents, so they were a little confused how to price the service).

I have a cat that I adore, and I take him to Joseph Romatowski at the Cat Clinic of NE Seattle. They are located somewhat far away (1539 1/2 NE 145TH St, 206-363-2890) but I've always had a great experience there. He is patient and respectful with my cat. The price is in line with my other experiences, between $50 and $100 for a checkup with some shots.
