- Type of work: Building houses. Actual work depends on what stage the houses on the worksite are in. Work can range from hammering nails to painting to landscaping.

- Type of work: Anything from painting, landscaping, weeding, cleaning, sorting, ...
- Event reason: "Participants make a minimum contribution of $25 in support of [Seattle Works'] year-round programs when they register."
