Welcome!

I'm a fifth year student here at CSE, working toward that elusive PhD process, working hard coming up with cool studies and carrying them out.

My research interests are in using and designing new social media to create better interfaces for collective decision making. I am particularly interested in improving communication between the public and decision makers on politically contentious issues.

We're currently working with the City of Seattle and the folks at IdeaScale to improve tools for public engagement.

My C.V. (updated 10/09).
