Monday after the talk CSI Miami featured a nightclub using RFID skin implants so patrons could charge purchases without having to carry a card or cash -- something Borriello mentioned at European nightclubs. The show said half the clubs in Miami were using them now. Anyone encountered these in the U.S.?

U.S. News & World Report just had an article [1] on RFIDs and retailers, and the Seattle Times has one today [2] on Homeland Security testing RFIDs at borders -- including up at the Peace Arch Canadian border.
