Information Diffusion Through Blogspace

This paper seems to merit the closest inspection as I find their methods to be very close to what I intend to do. They go as far as inducing a transmission graph over the blogs in their dataset and verify that the blogs found to be influential are ranked by an outside source as being influential. They do not make any attempts to verify their model's ability to predict users being infected, or given a sample seed set he final size of the 'information epidemic'. An email to David Liben-Nowell showed that he had no knowledge of any experiements ever being conducted on such.

This is the addition that I would like to make, and hopefully it is possible.
